Copyright
|
Copyright is often connected to traditional art forms such as literature, paintings, drawings, sculptures etc. But the copyright also protects other kinds of art work. It could be music, film and industrial design like clothing, shoes, furniture, lamps etc. Obtaining copyright does not depend on a registration. The copyright does, however, automatically emerge when the art work is created. The right is, however, conditional on you having created an original work of art, just as it is only the look - and not any potential technical functions - that is protected. Any kind of technique is instead to be protected by the Patent Act or the Utility Model Act. |
